This concept was created with several important factors considered.

Having a mascot in general opens the door to endless content creation, and can tie random videos of all different kinds together under one unifying brand umbrella.

Having multiple mascots that have a very simple story and motivation only amplifies those possibilities, and also has the generating power of endless bumpers….and endless merch.

I wanted to create something that not only incorporated the themes of shadows and machines, but was fun, simple, and immediately eye catching, to capture what little attention span people have while scrolling.

Putting an eye on literally anything is instantly intriguing, and will cause people to pause.

Beyond this, these characters were developed with the ease of animating them in mind. A blob of eyes rolling around is easy to animate, and requires little to no rigging. This will help us keep up with the pace of social media, and churn out more and more content.
